The learning environment is considered the third teacher. The classroom is set up into different areas offering children multiple opportunities for self-chosen exploration, investigation, social interaction and problem solving. The Children are provided with inspiring and motivating materials.

From the moment the students step into the classroom they feel a sense of belonging. The entry way greets them and their parent's with a warm and cozy atmosphere in which to say their goodbyes. The child's name, picture, and art work are displayed throughout, giving the children a sense of ownership in the classroom.
The message center with its child size mail boxes, is located nearby. Here the children spend time working with writing materials and other creative supplies to make and send cards to friends and family.
A separate room in the class serves as atelier (artist workshop). The children spend time each day working on their art work that stems from their interest's. Highly rich supplies are offered such as; paint, clay, ceramics, wire work, sculpture, portraits, collage, drawing, and more. An Atelierista (educator with art background) will be available once a month to help and support students with their projects. Instruction is given as to what paper, paint brushes, and technique works best to achieve the child's desired outcome. The children have ample time to work on, save, and work on again, until they feel that their project is complete.
The classroom offers: construction/architecture area, observing light and shadows with screen projectors, light table, sensory table, dramatic play, manipulative area, exploring natural materials, game center, cozy reading, music and listening, other multi media, and more…
The outdoor classroom offers: paint easels, bridges, streams, bird watching platform, garden/plant house, climbing wall, water wall, and lush trees providing for extraordinary dramatic play. Exploring and discovery happens each time they step outside.
